The crew focuses on positioning the vessel for west-facing views as Rhodes Town lights begin to glow. Sunset sailings fill quickly in July and August. Arrive early, bring a light jacket for the return after dark, and expect gentle background music rather than a party atmosphere on most vessels. Photography is best from the stern or upper deck once the captain positions the boat west.

What time does a sunset cruise depart?

What should I bring on the day?

Swimwear, towel, high-SPF sunscreen, hat and sunglasses. Soft-soled shoes work best on deck; bring a light layer for the return trip. Take seasickness tablets before longer crossings if needed. Leave bulky luggage at your hotel.

What happens if the weather is bad?
